Fort Campbell Museum Molds Historic Faces from Modern Warriors

Artists  make a silicon (audio speaker audio feature) Splashing onto the beaches of Normandy, capturing the two sons of Saddam Hussein and escorting nine black students into a newly integrated school in Little Rock – iconic scenes in which Fort Campbell troops played a role. The new $44 million Wings of Liberty museum at the post will include depictions of seven historic moments since World War II. And as a way to honor active duty soldiers and their families, the life size figures on display will be molded from modern day war heroes. WPLN’s Blake Farmer reports.
