State Offers Aid to Organic Farms

Foggy Hollow Farm (audio speaker audio feature) Only a small handful of Tennessee farmers choose to go without pesticides, manmade fertilizers or weed killers. But their number is growing at a time when agriculture as a whole has only just stopped declining. And they have help. Acre for acre, organic farms are eligible for more state assistance than their conventional peers. WPLN’s Nina Cardona has the story.
