In a nod towards Music City’s songwriting tradition, the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt is commissioning innovative new music for its three major chamber ensembles. Tonight, the Blakemore Trio premieres one of those works. The three Blair music professors seized the unusual opportunity to craft new sounds with a daring young composer.
