It’s a deciduous tree native to northwestern China known for its tasty fuzzy fruit which made its way to France and England in the 17th century where it became a highly prized delicacy. The fruit’s succulent flesh is not only a great source of vitamin C, fiber, potassium and iron, but the inspiration for a slew of peachy keen bluegrass tunes as well. With the help of Larry Sparks, David Holt, Alan Munde and the Biscuit Burners we’ll be saluting the mighty peach.
