It’s an emotional state or reaction—a belief, hunch or sensation. Psychologists claim there are about 34,000 different feelings but, according to Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions, there are 8 primary ones grouped into polar opposites: joy and sadness; acceptance and disgust; fear and anger; and surprise and anticipation. Thanks to the keen insight of Kenny & Amanda Smith, the Whites, the Grassmasters, Larry Stephenson and Jeanette Williams we’ll be feeling good, feeling fine, feeling hope and, of course, mainly feeling lonesome.
