Bluegrass Breakdown: 1983, part one

We’ll be making a bee-line back to 1983 when, among other things: The “A-Team” starring George Peppard and Mr. T premieres on NBC; Michael Jackson’s album “Thriller” soars to number 1 where it will remain for 37 weeks; the movie “E.T. the ExtraTerrestrial,” actor Ben Kingsley and actress Meryl Streep win Golden Globes; it snows 18 inches in NYC, the final episode of “MASH” airs, and the music of Gary Adams, Red Allen, and Jimmy Arnold thrill Bluegrass fans.
