Voters wanting to cast a ballot in Tennessee’s February 5th presidential primary need to have their registration in by Monday.
February 5th is known as “Super Duper Tuesday” because 21 other states will also hold their primaries on that day.
Davidson County Election Coordinator Ray Barrett hopes for an increase in voter registration, despite a recent break-in where two computers containing social security numbers of voters were stolen.
“It’ll probably be the safest time to register to vote because you know there’s gonna be some new security put in, so go ahead and register to vote and feel good about it.”
The form to register to vote in Davidson County can picked up at public libraries and post offices, or it can be downloaded from Nashville-dot-gov-slash-vote. It needs to be either postmarked or delivered in person to the county election office by Monday, January 7th.
