Andy Downs, Holding A Picture Of His Father
Andy Downs loves airplanes. He’s a licensed pilot and even owned a charter service at one point. It’s a love he inherited from his father, who he never got to know. Brent Downs was a pilot in the 1970s, a time when hijackings were a common occurrence. Andy Downs was 18 months old when his father was killed in a hijacking, but he says his father’s life and death cast a long shadow.
Andy Downs has more information on his father at his website.
