Nashville Airport officials announced Monday that several new flights will be added in the coming months.
Southwest Airlines is scheduling a second daily nonstop trip to and from Boston. United Airlines will make two more flights each day to its hub in Cleveland. And American Airlines has decided its seasonal flight to Los Angeles should be available year-round.
Nashville International Airport has experienced 25 straight months of growth in the number of passengers flying in and out of the city. The figures for August are the highest since the late eighties and early nineties, when Nashville was a hub for American.
