Listen Now:
Over the past year, hundreds of Middle Tennesseans have recorded their stories in the Story Corp Booth at the Nashville Public Library. Callie Watts brought her mother Sandra in to talk about her grandmother. “Mamaw”, as she was known, never drove herself, but Callie remembers her as a self-reliant, rugged woman, who amazed all in the kitchen….
NOTE: While the StoryCorps booth has moved on to another town, all of the Nashville interviews will be archived in the Library of Congress.
StoryCorps is also promoting a National Day of Listening this Friday. You find details at www.nationaldayoflistening.org
