Along with the announcement this week that an agreement has been reached between the mayor, the governor, and the Sounds on a new ballpark at the historic site of Sulphur Dell, the Dean administration released artist renderings.
The plan includes space for relocating the Tennessee State Museum and Archives adjacent to the Bi-Centennial Mall, room for an existing greenway to cross, and a pedestrian friendly 4th Ave. between Harrison Street and the park’s outfield entrance. There’s also a parking garage and room for private retail and housing development.
