Nine flood relief concerts by Garth Brooks, along with sell-out performances by Usher and the Zac Brown Band have helped Nashville’s Bridgestone arena set a record for attendance.
Arena officials say 334,917 people came to see hockey games and concerts in December – the biggest month ever for the downtown facility.
December’s totals far out-distance the previous record of 248,600 attendees in March of 2001 – the first year the city hosted the SEC Men’s basketball tournament.
