Tennessee law enforcement may soon be required to report unauthorized immigrants to the federal government

Current law allows local law enforcement agencies to report to the federal government when they arrest a person that is unauthorized to be in the United States. A bill heading to the governor would require it.

Tennessee tourism deals could be kept secret from the public under advancing measure

Vanderbilt police arrest local reporter covering pro-Palestinian student protest

A local reporter left a Vanderbilt University student protest that he was covering in handcuffs on Tuesday afternoon. Campus police arrested Nashville Scene reporter Eli Motycka, as students accused the administration of suppressing pro-Palestinian voices on campus.
