Tennessee Quietly Reinstates Emergency Order To Relieve Short-Staffed Hospitals

Gov. Bill Lee signed an executive order Friday reinstating flexibility for hospitals that find themselves short-staffed, allowing out-of-state or recently retired nurses and doctors and nursing graduates who have not yet passed their licensure exam to work in Tennessee. The order is set to expire Oct. 5.
