For one day, weapons were allowed into the Maury County Archives in downtown Columbia. Yesterday, people brought swords and black powder rifles, along with old brass buttons and antique photographs. Historians from the Tennessee Archives were kicking off a project that will take them to all 95 counties in search of Civil War memorabilia. WPLN’s Blake Farmer has the story.
