Occupy Nashville Breaks Camp

Occupy Nashville members are breaking up their camp. The move comes as the Legislature is set to take up a bill that would evict the protesters from War Memorial Plaza, where they’ve been since early October.

Saks Announces Distribution Center in LaVergne

Retailer Saks Incorporated has announced plans for a distribution center in LaVergne. In a news release, Saks says the 564,000 square foot facility would employ about 250 people when it opens later this year. Saks operates the department store chain Saks Fifth Avenue. Its other distribution centers are in Maryland and California.

Symphony, Swift Among Nashville Winners at Grammys

The Nashville Symphony and Taylor Swift are among Music City’s winners at last night’s Grammy Awards.
