Governor Bill Haslam says he hasn’t decided if he’ll veto a bill which singles out Vanderbilt University over the school’s anti-discrimination policy. Conservative lawmakers targeted the policy because they say it drives Christian groups off campus.

Tennessee lawmakers closed out the year’s session at the capitol Tuesday after resolving several last-minute squabbles and letting a few others drop.

Vanderbilt University’s controversial ‘all-comers’ rule remains under fire in Tennessee’s House of Representatives. The policy says campus groups must include members regardless of their beliefs – for example a religious group would have to let atheists join, and be eligible for leadership.
