Metro School Board Threatens To Withhold Payment To Superintendent Search Firm

The Metro school board will pay a Chicago-based superintendent search firm the full $45,000 fee, despite failing to have a new director in place. Wednesday night, board member Will Pinkston suggested the district shouldn’t pay the remaining half that was owed since Mike Looney turned down the job in July and stayed in Williamson County.

Williamson County Will Warn Gun Carriers When Schools Are Using Parks

Nashville Tire Repair Shops In Demand With Weather-Damaged Roads

Tennessee highway officials are asking drivers to bear with them until they can get to all of the potholes caused by recent rains and freezing temperatures. TDOT is calling the situation a “worse case” scenario.
