Clarksville State Senator Rosalind Kurita has pushed a constitutional amendment that would allow voters to choose the Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, the Comptroller, and the Treasurer. All four officers are now elected by the General Assembly. WPLN’s State Capitol Correspondent Joe White explains this year, Kurita has settled on getting just two officers added to the ballot – and so far, her strategy is working.
