The CMA Awards will stay put for the next few years. The Country Music Association has signed a three-year contract to continue holding its awards gala at the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville.
The arena has been the site of the CMAs every year since the 2006. In the past, the awards have been handed out in various venues around town, including the Ryman, Municipal Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry House. The event was held in New York City for one year only in 2005.
