Nashville early voting ended this weekend with a total of 68,319 Nashvillians — or about 14% of registered voters — making their decisions on a ballot headlined by the mayoral runoff between candidates Freddie O’Connell and Alice Rolli.
That’s a big increase from early voting during Metro’s General Election two months ago, when over 58,000 people voted early. And it’s an even bigger increase from 2019, when fewer than 50,000 people voted early in that mayor’s race.
The busiest location this time was the Green Hills Library, and turnout rose sharply in the final couple days.
For those who haven’t voted yet, election day is Thursday. Unlike in early voting, you must go to your designated polling place to cast your ballot.
