The state and federal disaster recovery center in Gallatin will close this evening at 7pm, but help will still be available for people affected by last month’s tornadoes. Homeowners, renters and business owners who suffered losses have until June 5 to register for disaster assistance. So far, more than 17-hundred Tennesseans have applied for rental assistance, money for home repairs, low-interest loans and grants.
