Another democratic candidate for Governor has pulled out of the race.
Nashville businessman Ward Cammack issued a press release this morning saying he is returning to private business in part because, quote “political alliances proved impenetrable and fund raising ground to a halt.”
Cammack is the second Democrat to exit the governor’s race this week. West Tennessee State Senator Roy Heron also announced his exit primary because he wants to run for Congressman John Tanner’s seat. Tanner isn’t running for re-election next year.
