Final preparations for Tuesday’s Presidential Debate at Belmont University continue through the weekend, including at the chocolate shop of Katrina Neylon in the downtown Arcade.
Belmont commissioned a portrait of each of the candidates. The final product is a photo reprinted in white chocolate on a milk chocolate plank. Neylon says she’s happy with how Barack Obama turned out, but has some more work to do on John McCain.
“This one is on its sixth attempt, but we’re getting there.”
She says McCain’s face is still a little too “harsh looking.” The chocolate portraits will be given to each candidate after Tuesday’s Town Hall debate.
