Finally Someone Mapped Out All The Major Construction Projects Underway In Nashville

Nashville’s commercial real estate market is moving at such a clip that it may require a map to understand the cumulative impact.

The Nashville Business Journal has launched an interactive website called ”
Crane Watch.” It shows the status of more than 100 major projects around Davidson County. Nearly a quarter of them are valued at $100 million or more.

Senior business reporter Adam Sichko says the publication plans to update the map every week.

“I think it sort of encapsulates a lot of the questions that are on everyone’s minds,” Sichko says. “How much is too much? When does it all stop? Is it a bubble? I think, to me, it gets the wheels turning in people’s heads — or it ought to — as they kind of peruse the map and play around with it and marvel at everything that’s going on.”

Sichko says there are already more real estate projects that need to be added — some that were announced in the last few days.
