Finding Your Way Home: The Women of Magdalene

So far this year, police have issued more than 1,300 charges to women prostituting on Nashville’s streets. Most of these women face abuse and addiction. Many of them have children. For more than 11 years a program called Magdalene has helped some of these women get off the streets, off drugs, and back with their families. Several of these former prostitutes told their stories to WPLN producer Kim Green and read excerpts from a new book they’ve written called Find Your Way Home.
