Less than one percent of legally blind adults use guide dogs for mobility. A nonprofit organization in Florida called Southeastern Guide Dogs works to increase that statistic by providing seeing-eye dogs free of charge. They operate on a shoestring budget, relying on thousands of volunteers around the Southeast to raise guide dog puppies to adulthood. An important part of preparing them for their working lives is exposing them to a human working environment. WPLN’s Kim Green reports on a Nashville law firm that’s helping to teach guide dogs office etiquette.
