Governor Bill Haslam is now offering a $50 thousand reward for information to help find and convict the kidnapper of a West Tennessee woman. 20-year-old Holly Bobo, a blond-haired nursing student, is believed to have been kidnapped last week.
Haslam’s reward is on top of $25 thousand raised by Bobo’s community of Parsons, Tennessee, about a hundred miles west of Nashville.
The governor upped the reward at the request of a district attorney, and the money would come from the Governor’s Emergency and Contingency Fund. Previous administrations have offered similar rewards.
