Brazil-based jet manufacture Embraer is receiving state money for its new Nashville maintenance facility.
At its site at the Nashville Airport, the company repairs aircrafts. It just opened its facility in April.
The state department of Economic and Community Development is giving a $750,00 grant to the Metropolitan Airport Authority. It will be used for Embraer’s hanger renovations.
Airport officials say the project will create about 100 new jobs.
