Lipscomb University has announced it will open a school on aging.
Students will be able to earn masters’ and graduate degrees in services for the elderly, an age group which now represents 1 in every 8 Americans. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Lipscomb’s new school of so-called “Transform-Aging” has gotten corporate support from the AARP, a powerful lobbying group for seniors.
