Turnout was low for Metro Council’s runoff elections. The Davidson County Election Commission says about 6,200 voters cast ballots in Thursday’s election—that’s about 13 percent of registered voters. Voters decided races in five council districts.
Antioch incumbent Robert Duvall defeated Page Turner, who had the support of Mayor Karl Dean.
In East Nashville’s District 5, former council member Pam Murray lost to newcomer Scott Davis.
Also in East Nashville, Peter Westerholm defeated Dave Rich for the District 6 seat.
In District 4, former Dean staffer Brady Banks won over Dave Patterson.
Josh Sites is the new councilmember for District 13 in Donelson. Sites defeated Marilyn Robinson.
