David Wooten and Terri Masterson have moved from a campsite in Madison to a Mobile Housing Navigation Center at City Road Chapel UMC.
For unhoused people in Middle Tennessee, many services are located in the Nashville city core — which can be a lengthy distance from campsites, family, and friends. Mobile Housing Navigation centers are designed to meet people in the communities where they’re living. In this feature, originally part of This Is Nashville, one small church with a big building uses their space to provide temporary shelter to people in Madison.
