Nashville-area home sales for March were up more than 17 percent over the same month last year, according to figures from the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors. Overall sales so far for 2012 are 24 percent higher than the first part of 2011.
The sale price for single-family homes is up, too. The median price is about 168-thousand dollars compared to 165-thousand in March of last year. But the sale price for condos has slipped about ten thousand dollars in the same time frame.
