Two men responsible for a meth-related explosion in the parking lot of a Nashville Wal-Mart have been sentenced to more than seven years in prison. Both pleaded guilty to their roles in a methamphetamine manufacturing conspiracy.
Cory Ingram of Camden and Anthony Coker of Hermitage were arrested last year after a metal tank full of ammonia exploded in their truck bed. No one was seriously injured, but one bystander and a police officer were treated for inhaling ammonia fumes.
Surveillance video shows the culprits were inside a Wal-Mart on Murfreesboro Road purchasing other ingredients for making meth.
Tennessee led the nation in the number of meth busts in 2010. This year, busts have been down considerably, but much of the decline is blamed on a lack of federal funding for meth lab cleanups.
