The Nashville Farmer’s Market is headed towards a change in management.
Metro officials have put out a request for proposals from private contractors interested in running the market, which includes restaurants and a flea market, as well as stalls selling produce and plants. The Farmer’s Market does not break even, and its board is ready to have someone else find a new direction.
They’re asking that proposals include ideas for bringing in new customers and creating a better connection to the downtown core.
