Metro police are hoping people driving through Nashville will help them catch fugitives.
The department has teamed up with Lamar Advertising to post fugitive photos and information on four billboards in Nashville.
The billboards now feature Jeremy Duffer, who is charged with seven counts of child rape and other crimes.
Duffer freed himself of his GPS monitoring bracelet in February. His last reported sighting was in April.
Metro Police Chief Ronal Sergas says hundreds of thousands of cars will pass the billboards each day.
“It doesn’t matter where we think he is; we don’t know exactly where he is, so if he is anywhere in and around this area and somebody drives by that billboard and sees him, they may call us and that is what we hope for and that is what we’d like to see come out of this.”
Duffer’s photo will remain on the billboards until he is caught and then information on another fugitive will appear.
