Murfreesboro Water Officials Revise Cutoff Policy

Murfreesboro officials voted Tuesday to revise a new policy that has cutoff water service to 1,900 customers since January.

Residents will now have more than a month to pay their bills before being disconnected.

The city will still offer a six-day extension on a due bill, but customers must ask for more time before their water is shutoff or pay $40 to have it turned back on.
