In a state that as recently as last year had only one pharmacy school, we’re perched for unprecedented growth as three new schools will open enrollment next year. Universities are responding to a growing shortage of pharmacists. And while Tennessee schools have stepped up to fill all of those impending prescriptions, some worry that churning out so many graduates may spawn another shortage. WPLN’s Blake Farmer reports.
