
Many of us want a long life. But how do we have a long health span to match our life span? A lot of it has to do with mindset.
Research by Dr. Rebecca Levy, at the Yale School of Public Health, shows that we can add 7.5 years to our lives by having a positive perspective about aging. And more of us are living longer. The life expectancy now is around 80 compared to the early 1900s, when it was less than 50.
