Severe weather passed through Middle Tennessee overnight, downing trees and knocking out power to thousands of homes.
Sirens sounded in Nashville, as Davidson County was placed under a tornado warning around 1am.
NES says about 1700 homes are without power, mostly in Pegram, Bellevue, and Crieve Hall.
Storms spotters in Dickson County reported seeing a funnel cloud, although there’s been no confirmation of a tornado on the ground.
The storms were part of a string of severe weather that stretched from Alabama to Illinois.
