The state attorney general says he’s one step closer to securing refunds and restitution for customers of Nashville-based Consumer Depot.
Davidson County Circuit Court Judge Amanda McClendon recently sided with the state in a lawsuit that claimed the company lied about its products and failed to resolve complaints from an estimated 21-thousand customers.
The next step is determining penalties for Consumer Depot and its owners. The state is asking that the company be required to pay a thousand dollars per customer in addition to refunding the sales.
