UPDATE 7/28/14 at 5:00 pm: Buyer Says He Plans to Re-Sell Studio A
Developer Tim Reynolds, describing Studio A as run-down and mold-infested, told The Tennessean he has no plans to develop the property himself. Instead he will try to re-sell the property, perhaps to an out-of-state developer looking to move to Music Row.

The Tennessean reported early Monday afternoon that RCA Studio A has been sold to Brentwood-based developer Bravo Development. Tenants of the building — including Studio A’s high profile renter, musician Ben Folds — were told to expect new lease terms to arrive shortly.
Very little is known about what this means for the studio’s future. The Nashville Business Journal says Bravo owner Tim Reynolds hung up the phone when reached for comment.
We reported previously that debate around the sale pits preservationists against one of Nashville most legendary guitarists Harold Bradley, who owned the studio he started with his brother Owen Bradley and Chet Atkins.
Before the sale, Tim Reynolds said he intended to preserve the studio but declined to elaborate on specific re-development plans.
