Last June, we dedicated an episode of This Is Nashville to the question: “What’s next for Nissan Stadium?” It was a somewhat open-ended question at that point.
Then in the fall, the Tennessee Titans struck a deal with Nashville Mayor John Cooper on a proposed $2.2 billion plan to build the NFL team a new stadium.
At the time, Mayor Cooper said, “We are proposing a new stadium paid for by the team, the state, tourists and spending around the stadium — not by your family.” Critics have questioned whether the plan is really a good deal for the city, and experts have disagreed on the new stadium’s potential economic impact.
So now that there are financing numbers and renderings, we want to know: What questions do you have about the plan? Submit yours below and we could pose them to city or team officials on an upcoming episode of This Is Nashville.
