The primary election for District 52 will take place June 15. But voters of each party will only have one choice.
For Democrats, it’s Rep. Justin Jones, who was reappointed to the seat back in April, and for those voting on the Republican ballot, there’s Laura Nelson.
With only two candidates, the most important date for the race will be Aug. 3 when the two face off in the general election. For that election, the deadline to register is July 5.
Early voting begins July 14 and runs through July 29.
Along with the District 52 race on the ballot will be the mayor, vice mayor, and Metro councilmembers.
