Titans Part Ways with Fisher

After 16 seasons with the franchise, Jeff Fisher will no longer be the coach of the Tennessee Titans. The team confirmed the news Thursday night in a one-sentence statement.

Fisher leaves as the longest tenured coach in the NFL, but after a 6-10 season and a public quarterback controversy with Vince Young.

Titans fans Valerie Crawford, Mark Neely and Alvin Fite at the Crows Nest sports bar in Green Hills generally feel letting Fisher go is the right move.
