The death of 26-year old Lee Carter Perry means the state’s death toll from severe weather nearly two weeks ago is now 32.
The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says Perry died Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from injuries he suffered when a tornado tore through the Castalian Springs mobile home he shared with his father. Perry’s father, Roger Perry, was killed by the same tornado.
Disaster Recovery Centers are operating daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. in Macon, Sumner, Hardin, Madison, Shelby, Williamson, Benton and Hickman counties.
