A tornado with winds estimated at 120 mph damaged a home in the Hampshire community.
The National Weather Service has confirmed four tornadoes touched down during storms late Sunday night. All were in a cluster of neighboring counties: Maury, Hickman and Humphreys.
The strongest tornado occurred around the Hampshire community. That is estimated to have been an EF-2, meaning the wind speeds were up to 135 miles per hour. That touchdown took down trees and a barn and ripped the roof from a home.
There were two tornadoes in the next category down, topping out at 110 miles per hour. Those EF-1 tornadoes were in Mount Pleasant and McEwen.
And survey teams determined there was an EF-0 in Fairview, where damage was mostly to snapped and uprooted trees near Highway 46.
