Two Tennessee-based companies made Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list.
Baker Donelson law firm ranked 77th and shipping company Fed Ex 91st on the annual survey.
The business magazine praised Baker Donelson for its diversity program, while citing Fed Ex for reinstating merit salary increases and part of a 401(k) match that had been suspended.
Both companies are based in Memphis. Fed Ex made the list despite 1,000 layoffs last year. Baker Donelson has never had layoffs.*
