This weekend, Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell kicks off a series of walks through Metro Parks. As part of the Celebrate Nashville festivities, Purcell will lead hour-long hikes on the first Saturday of each month through June. The effort is intended to bring attention to the large system of parks, trails and greenways in Davidson County.
Purcell’s first Walk in the Park begins at 9am tomorrow at Beaman Park.
