Fisk University locks down after bomb threat, following string of cases at historically Black schools

At about 9 a.m. Monday, Fisk University began to evacuate and lock down the campus following a bomb threat. A university spokesperson tells WPLN News that Fisk has never experienced such a threat before, and it has shaken the campus.

TSU Latest Campus to Receive Bomb Threat

Students are back in class at the downtown campus of Tennessee State University after a bomb threat was called in this morning. While police found no evidence of an explosive device, it’s the latest in a rash of bomb scares at colleges around the country.
